Why and how to put up a tag team

Tag Teams are the 90's version of the three way call

Tag Team System Defined:

Our unique on-line “tag” system is actually quite simple! It works like this:
  1. You place ads in/on the various on-line services, newsgroups, BBS’s, etc..

  2.
  3. Once you receive a response/lead...you email that person back with the follow-up information...(lets use Jane Smith as your lead... Jane is interested in your program...)

  4.
  5. At the same time that you email your follow-up information back to the lead, you place the email addresses of your tag-team members (your up-line, downline or other friends also in the program) in the CC: field (Carbon Copy) of your follow-up email to Jane.... (don't worry, we’re not here to STEAL your leads...we’re very ethical MLM PROFESSIONALS, if anyone steals leads, you will NOT be invited back..Period. This is your first and only warning...) In this way your tag-team members can right way see (read) what you wrote that lead and can customize their follow-up.

  6.
  7. Creating Your Tag: (so you can help other group members, when they have a tag request) Hi, My name is <Your Name> and I’ve been a part of <Program> for a few weeks now..and let me tell you! This program has a great potential!! The compensation plan is excellent and our unique on-line tag team has helped place several members in my downline..etc...

Summary:

  1. Get your leads
  2. Send them the information
  3. Contact the group members for the tag
  4. Get your tag written, so you can also help the members
  5. Have plenty of gas in your car to take all those checks to the bank!!!

A few rules and regulations to abide by:

  1. We DO NOT send information on other programs, to leads that are not ours.

  2.
  3. Since our group is growing very rapidly you might want to consider a small core group of people to do tags with. Involve your up-line and your downline as much as possible, but crossline friends make great taggers, too! This should make things more efficient...and free up a lot of on-line time..to take care of other business.

  4.
  5. When you design your own tag responce, it is the best to write down the reason why you first joined and what you like about being a member. Also mention somewhere in your tag responce, who asked you to tag this lead. I.e. "Frank Bauer told me that you interested in <Program>."

Thats about it for now. If any of you have any suggestions on how to make this system more effective for all of us..please contact me.

We look forward to work with everyone!! So what are you waiting for? Start gathering those leads!!!

Recently, there were some excellent questions asked about tag teaming that we thought helped make things easier to understand:

> How to request to tag a prospect?

The best way is to form a tag team group. This would be people in your up-line, downline or cross-line that you respect -- you agree to tag for them, they agree to tag for you.

We suggest a group of 6...this way you can figure on about 4 timely tags.

>What should I tell the prospect before I request for tag?

We mention that s/he will be hearing from a few of our associates about the company and on-line support they can expect if they join our group. We also mention that this provides them with a more well rounded view of the program. Everyone who is seriously interested in finding out more about a company can appreciate that.

>How many people will send a note?

Depends on how many folks you ask! You don't want to have your prospect feel they are being badgered.

>What's typically in that note?

Anything positive! The idea is for INDIVIDUALS to present their own views so that the likelihood of the prospect identifying and feeling comfortable with at least one member of the team increases.

If anyone would like a sample copy of a tag team letter, just contact me.

>How soon will the prospect be tagged?

Usually within 24 hours, but sometimes it takes longer. Most taggers will put your e-mail address in the CC box so you know who has tagged and what was said.

Please send me your contibutions to this subject.
